Hatchery Operative - Annyalla Chicks

Annyalla Chicks is looking to appoint toassistthe hatchery management team in the day-to-day running of the hatchery facility. To ensure the welfare of day-old chicks whilstmaintainthehigh standards of quality, hygiene, animal welfare and healthand safety that are required.

Develop a full understanding of poultry at Annyalla Chicks

Assist with daily production needs, in particular chick production

Undertake various tasks within the hatchery; chick take off and chick grading

General cleaning and tidiness of all areas inside and outside the hatchery to ensure ourhigh standards of biosecurity are adhered to at all times

Adhere to all codes of practice and bird welfare

Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Undertake any other duties within the hatchery operation as and when required

Be responsible forown training and development to keep up to date with industry standards

Flexible and hard working

Enthusiastic and a positive attitude to teamwork

Ability to work shifts (start times can range between 3am to 5am)

Computer Literate

Previous experience working within a production environment would be advantageous
