We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at our Wrexham site. This role is accountable for delivering safe, compliant, and efficient production while fostering a strong culture of engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of high‑quality medicines to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and supply targets
Own GMP compliance, audit readiness, and quality risk management within the department
Drive production performance through effective resource planning, KPI management, and issue resolution
Lead, develop, and engage Shift Managers, Team Leaders, and Operators to build high‑performing teams
Champion continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives
Manage departmental budgets, costs, and capacity to align with business objectives
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
Significant pharmaceutical manufacturing leadership experience, with a strong track record in delivering safe, compliant, and efficient operations
Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage teams while meeting tight deadlines and performance targets
Demonstrated experience in budget and cost control within manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimisation
Strong working knowledge of GMP, QMS, RCA/CAPA, and regulatory audit environments
