Detail The Opportunity

Do you enjoy turning ideas into action and seeing your work make a genuine commercial impact?

As Buitelaar Group continues to grow, we're investing in our marketing team and creating a new Marketing Manager role. This is a unique opportunity to join our Group Marketing team and work across both our Pet and Meat divisions, developing brands, supporting commercial growth and delivering marketing that makes a real difference. From day one, you'll have genuine responsibility, broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to help shape the future of our brands.

About

Us

Established in 1922, Buitelaar Group is a fifth-generation, family-owned business operating across agriculture, meat, ingredients, pet food and raw materials, and hides and skins. With over 100 years of experience, we connect farmers, processors, retailers and manufacturers through integrated, traceable supply chains, supplying high-quality British and Irish beef alongside a growing portfolio of brands and agricultural businesses. We’re a business that values ownership, curiosity and people who enjoy taking responsibility.

We move quickly, work collaboratively and encourage our team to develop alongside the business.

The Role

Your role is to drive commercial growth by developing our brands, strengthening customer relationships and delivering marketing that creates measurable value for the business. Working as part of our Group Marketing team, you'll work across both our Pet and Meat divisions, giving you the opportunity to build a broad understanding of the business while developing expertise across two commercially important sectors.

From day one, you'll take ownership of key Pet marketing activity, including the delivery of Zoomark 2027, while also working alongside our commercial team to develop the future of our Meat brands. Your work will span everything from developing marketing campaigns and customer communications to improving websites, evolving brands, creating content, supporting customer relationships and delivering major exhibitions. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in long-term brand development projects whilst also delivering day-to-day marketing activity that supports business growth.

As your understanding of the business grows, the balance of your role will naturally evolve, with increasing responsibility for the strategic development of our meat marketing. By this stage, you'll already have built strong relationships across the business and have a solid understanding of our customers, brands and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strong Brands – Support the ongoing development of our Pet and Meat brands, ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects the quality, values and commercial ambitions of the business.
  • Support Commercial Growth – Work alongside our commercial teams to develop customer presentations, marketing campaigns, sales materials and customer experiences that strengthen relationships, support sales and generate new opportunities.
  • Lead Marketing Projects & Exhibitions – Take ownership of key marketing projects, coordinating campaigns and major exhibitions, including Zoomark.
  • Create Engaging Content – Develop compelling marketing content across digital, print and social channels, helping tell the stories behind our brands, our customers and our integrated supply chains.
  • Build Relationships – Develop strong relationships with colleagues, customers, chefs and industry bodies and external partners, helping to strengthen collaboration and support our story.
  • Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Measure performance, identify opportunities to improve results and embrace new technologies, to help the marketing team work smarter, deliver better insight and create greater commercial value.
About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in a varied, fast-paced environment. You'll be equally comfortable planning a marketing campaign, coordinating an exhibition, visiting a customer or spending time on-farm gathering ideas and content. You'll enjoy building relationships and be confident working with colleagues, customers, chefs,…
