This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced communications professional who enjoys creating engaging content, coordinating projects and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
In the Internal Communications Officer role, you will be:
Coordinating graduation activities, ensuring students receive accurate information and supporting the successful delivery of graduation ceremonies.
Creating and delivering engaging internal communications across a range of channels, including newsletters, intranet content, emails, websites and social media.
Developing communications plans and content calendars to keep staff and students informed throughout the year.
Monitoring communication performance using analytics and identifying opportunities to improve engagement.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather content, promote key initiatives and ensure consistent messaging.
Providing administrative support and assisting with marketing, communications and promotional events when required.
To be successful in the Internal Communications role, you will need:
Previous experience in a communications, marketing or internal communications role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce engaging content for a variety of audiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and events simultaneously.
Experience using Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms, including websites, newsletters and social media.
The ability to work independently while building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Welsh language skills or experience within Higher Education would be advantageous but are not essential.
This is a full-time temporary opportunity, working Monday to Friday, until the end of September 2027. The role is offering a payrate up to £22.00 per hour holiday pay.
