Practice Nurse – Wrexham

Dream Medical is working with a GP surgery in Wrexham in recruiting a Practice Nurse for their surgery. The practice is looking for a nurse to cover full time hours 37.5hrs a week on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a team alongside GP's, Nurses and healthcare assistants.

Essential duties:

• Up to date in baby Immunisations and Vaccinations
• Child and adult immunisations
• Cervical Cytology

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
• The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
• Spirometry
• Diabetes
• Asthma and COPD monitoring
• Family planning
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
