Job OverviewBluestones Medical is currently recruiting compassionate and experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and surrounding healthcare settings.
This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses seeking flexible agency work across a range of hospital wards and clinical environments. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
Flexible shifts are available including days, nights, weekends, and long days to suit your availability and lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities- Deliver safe, effective, and patient-focused nursing care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in line with NMC guidelines and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient conditions and escalation concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Support infection prevention and control standards at all times.
- Provide compassionate care while promoting dignity, privacy, and respect.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Support patients with their physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.
- Promote patient independence and recovery where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in ward handovers, clinical discussions, and care planning.
- Support junior staff and students when required.
- Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct and hospital policies.
- Maintain safeguarding awareness and escalation concerns appropriately.
- Participate in mandatory training and continuing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Minimum 6 months UK nursing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities. - Flexible approach to working patterns and shift availability.
