** As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will have a broad range of responsibilities in order to ensure that products and processes meet quality standards, customer expectations and relevant regulatory requirement. The role involves monitoring, testing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and repeatability as well as working on reducing variations and cost of poor quality. This role calls for a strong blend of practical, hands‑on ability and exceptional soft skills — including teamwork, communication, leadership, and coordination.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Developing and maintaining quality control plans and procedures for different product families according to existing standards and specific customer requirements.
* Ensuring the correct application of work instructions and quality control plans together with applicable QMS procedures.
* Managing customer quality claims, including intercompany issues.
* Managing internal quality non-conformities, applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) and identify areas of improvement.
* Monitoring supplier quality performance and managing supplier quality issues.
* Driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions using tools like 8D, A3, FMEA, involving cross-functional teams when required.
* Facilitating external (e.g., ISO, BASEC) and customer audits. Supporting internal and supplier audits.
* Monitoring quality KPIs such as COPQ, number of customer claims.
* Analysing quality data in order to identify “data driven” improvement opportunities.
* Maintaining and updating quality management system documentation, in coordination with the UK Quality Systems Manager.
* Managing a plant quality team.
** You are the right fit if you have/are:
*** Proven experience within Quality with a hands‑on, can‑do attitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
* Experience with in a Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
* Proficient in quality standards, test methodologies, and statistical analysis tools.
* Results‑driven, able to multitask, and skilled at prioritising effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and all organisational levels.
* Background in Quality, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering — or equivalent experience in a manufacturing quality role.
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.
