Horti Assistant, Holland Arms Garden Centre Temp

Overview

We are looking for a Part Time Temporary Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Holland Arms Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10 to £12.25 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this position are 20 hours per week over 4 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

• As a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases
• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets

• Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
• Knowledgeable and passionate about plants and plant replated products
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
