We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Retail Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our retail outlets across the park. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced visitor attraction environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will assist in supervising multiple retail locations, ensuring high standards of customer service, visual merchandising, stock control, and team performance. Experience with in seasonal retail, leisure, tourism, hospitality, or visitor attractions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Retail Manager in the daily operation of all retail outlets across the theme park.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise retail team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure retail areas are clean, well-stocked, visually appealing, and maintained to company standards.
  • Assist with staff training, coaching, and development to promote excellent product knowledge and service delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering and replenishment processes.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure all cash handling, till operations, and financial procedures are followed accurately.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of seasonal retail team members during peak trading periods.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and security procedures.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators through effective merchandising and upselling techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with departments across the attraction, including Food & Beverage, Admissions, and Operations, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Provide duty management support when required and act as a key holder where appropriate.
Person Specification Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous supervisory experience within a retail environment.
  • Experience working in seasonal retail operations within the leisure, tourism, hospitality, or visitor attraction sector.
  • Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during busy periods.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, bank holidays, school holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience supervising multiple retail outlets or departments.
  • Knowledge of stock management systems and retail reporting.
  • Experience working within a theme park, zoo, holiday park, visitor attraction, or similar leisure environment.
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).

The Details
  • Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour (based on age)
  • Hours: This is a fully time position offering 40.00 hours per week, including weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays. Shifts will be rostered in advance,
