Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR
What you will be doing:
Managing and developing a portfolio of existing, lapsed, and potential customers
Providing a 'personal service' approach to key Gold customers
Selling core range products, Completing a customer Gap analysis from top-selling lines
Sourcing new customers within focused geographic areas
Re-engaging lapsed and lost customers to rebuild relationships and recover business
Reviewing order history and identifying lost lines, understanding reasons and proposing solutions
Promoting new product development (NPD), arranging samples and managing follow-ups, securing listings and gathering structured customer feedback on samples
Supporting clearance stock activity within agreed margin and volume guidelines
Conducting competitor research and producing a weekly market intelligence report
Recording all customer interactions, feedback, and insights accurately within the CRM system
Learning technical aspects of our products and how they solve our customers problems.
Skills:
Tenacious and confident on the phone
Organised and detail-oriented, especially with CRM updates
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Resilient and motivated, able to perform under pressure and work towards targets
Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
Detail-focused, especially when managing CRM data and customer records
Previous sales experience, ideally in an office-based or internal sales role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner
Strong information-gathering and questioning skills
Ability to work through rejection with drive and determination
Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
Computer literate
