Sales Engineer – Industrial Connectors – South UK

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join a UK-based leader in industrial connectivity. You will focus on expanding their presence across the Southern UK region, covering the Midlands downwards. This customer-facing, field-based role is suited to individuals with a strong sales background in the connector or industrial wholesale sectors, providing high-performance electrical connection solutions designed for demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business development across the Southern territory

Conduct face-to-face meetings with OEM clients, industrial distributors, and wholesalers

Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Identify opportunities to grow market share within the industrial sector

Represent the company at customer sites, trade events, and industry meetings

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery excellence

Maintain detailed records of sales activity and client interactions

Requirements

Background in industrial wholesale

Proven success in business development roles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-starter capable of managing a large and varied territory

Ability to work independently while supporting team goals

Willingness to travel across the Southern UK region
