Title: Regional Business Consultant (Wales – CF,NP,SA,SY,LD)

Reporting to: Regional Business Manager

To manage a given number of accounts within Wales

Salary & Package: Basic & Bonus (TBC), Company Car, Laptop, Phone & Business Expenses

• Selling into builders’ merchants, timber merchants, fixing distributors and similar customers.
• Create strong account relationships, recognising opportunities and maximising potential.
• Identify new products and market gaps.
• Account and product evaluation with key accounts.
• Generating structured business plans and driving them forward.
• Setting call objectives and achieving them.
• Selling in promotions.
• Negotiating and applying new discounts on new and existing ranges.
• Promoting web & EDI ordering.
• Merchandising and training when required.
• Attending various trade show & exhibitions.
• Ensuring the CRM software is used to its highest potential and all notes and contact information is up to date at all times.

• Previous sales experience with proven track record is essential
  .
• Experience of selling via a distribution channel and preferably to our market.
• Confident & outgoing personality.
• High level of communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills & commercial awareness of opportunities.
• Good IT skills with high competency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist colleagues when required.
