This is a rewarding role which requires a good understanding of working with children looked after and prospective adopters. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary professionals in the North Wales Adoption Service and directly with prospective adopters, supporting them to learn more about adoption, start thinking about the benefits and challenges involved, and decide whether adoption is right for them.

Key responsibilities include supporting prospective adopters through the eligibility and readiness process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous service improvement.

Qualifications and skills:

Core hours are 9 am to 5 pm; flexible hours may be required to meet service needs.

The team is supportive, consisting of a service manager, four operational managers, social workers, a training officer, therapeutic family support workers, and business administrators.
