Family Support Worker (Prevention and Social Care Support – Waking Hours Team)
The Children’s Social Care Department seeks to appoint a professional, committed, and caring person within its prevention services for families in Wrexham. The Family Support Worker will undertake all aspects of family support services across the child care teams, working directly with children, young people and families to promote positive parenting, independence, healthy relationships and to keep children safe.
Qualifications- Relevant qualifications: QCF or NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (Child Care) or other relevant child care qualifications.
- Or ability and commitment to achieve QCF Level 3 within a set timescale.
- Provide family support services across child care teams.
- Work directly with children, young people and families to promote positive parenting, independence, healthy relationships and ensure child safety.
Prevention and Social Care Support Waking Hours Team – between 7am and 10pm, 5 days per week, 37 hours per week.
