Qualified Experienced Social Worker – 12 month Temporary contract

North Wales Adoption Service is one of five regional Collaboratives which form part of the National Adoption Service in Wales. It is responsible for the recruitment and assessment of adopters, the matching and placement of children with adoptive families and provides a range of support services for adopted families.

• Complete assessments of prospective adopters.
• Find and place children with adoptive families.
• Prepare matching reports.
• Present prospective adopter reports to the adoption panel.

• Registered social worker with experience.
• Excellent written assessment and analytical skills.
• Commitment to work to time scales.
