About the roleThe Education and Early Intervention Department seeks a Youth Worker to support young people’s well‑being, focusing on personal, social and educational development within the Inspire Youth Work in Hospital Project. The role supports caseworkers in one‑to‑one interventions, assists young people on hospital wards, and delivers prevention activities and sessions in schools and youth clubs.
Responsibilities- Facilitate young people’s personal, social and educational development.
- Assist caseworkers with one‑to‑one interventions.
- Support young people on hospital wards.
- Deliver prevention activities and sessions in schools and youth clubs.
- Passion for supporting young people’s well‑being.
- Experience or willingness to work with young people who engage in self‑harm behaviours.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS and EWC registration.
