An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Accountancy Team for a Senior Finance Officer position. The post is within the Schools Finance Team and is a temporary post for a period of 12 months.
The post will provide Finance support to Wrexham’s Schools ensuring Financial returns and monitoring are completed within the required deadlines, this post gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a range of colleagues including Head Teachers, Schools Support Staff & the Education Management Team
Ideally you will be a qualified accounting technician with experience of providing financial advice and support to managers. Given the generic nature of the post, it is expected that the successful applicant will demonstrate the requisite skill set to provide accountancy support across the full range of the Authority’s activities.
