What you will do

  • Manage an allocated caseload, including routine social work interventions, and expedite cases requiring more complex professional input.
  • Collaborate with experienced practitioners through mentoring and guidance to refine your skills, gaining increased responsibility and making independent decisions.
  • Provide support to adults and children at risk, along with their families and carers, assessing risks and identifying supportive measures.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care and support plans, and recommend external support when necessary, managing resources effectively.
  • Promote positive outcomes by offering professional support and guidance, ensuring evidence-based plans are thoroughly reviewed and modified when needed.
  • Participate in a duty system on a rota basis to respond to cases promptly, undertaking assessments and planning around immediate crisis responses.
