An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker / Experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Service at Wrexham
.

The Fostering Service plays a vital role in achieving safe, stable and positive outcomes for children and young people. The service supports a wide range of carers and families and is responsible for the recruitment, assessment, training and ongoing support of foster carers and connected carers.

As a Social Worker within the Fostering Service, you will work within one of four dedicated Hubs
, each with its own distinct functions, roles and responsibilities. Depending on the needs of the service, there may also be opportunities or requirements to work across different Hubs.

• Recruitment and assessment of foster carers
• Generic Foster Carers
• Champion Foster Carers
• Connected Foster Carers
• Families with Special Guardianship Orders
• Supported Lodgings Hosts
• When I’m Ready Foster Carers
• Training and ongoing support for carers and families
• You will play an important role in ensuring that children and young people receive safe, nurturing and appropriate care, while working collaboratively with carers, families, colleagues and partner agencies.
