Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for a Senior Web Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, delivering high‑quality user-facing applications and websites to tight deadlines. You will take ownership of front‑end development across multiple platforms and play a key role in shaping the user experience of our client’s digital products.

This is a full‑time office based role.

• Owning the maintenance and ongoing development of all relevant web applications and websites, ensuring excellent reliability, performance, and usability.
• Implementing bug fixes, enhancements, and new features across existing platforms.
• Building new websites, internal tools, and front‑end applications from the ground up.
• Translating designs and requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant UIs.
• Mentoring and supporting a junior front‑end developer, promoting best practices and code quality.
• Working closely with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver end‑to end solutions.

• The successful candidate will have strong, demonstrable experience in:
• React.js
• Next.js
• JavaScript (ES6+) and modern browser APIs
• HTML5 & CSS3 (responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility)
• Type Script
• Tailwind CSS or similar modern CSS frameworks
• Node.js (front‑end tooling, build processes, integrations)
• Strapi or similar headless CMS platforms
• Git for source control and collaborative development
• An understanding of C#, .NET and backend concepts to support collaboration with backend teams (deep expertise not required).
• Awareness of SQL and relational databases, including how front‑end applications interact with data (no complex database development expected).
• Strong understanding of front‑end architecture, component-based design, and state management.
• Solid grasp of programming fundamentals, including functional programming principles and common design patterns.
• Experience working with API-driven applications and consuming REST/JSON endpoints.
• Awareness of performance optimisation, accessibility standards, and modern front‑end best practices.
• A working knowledge of Dev Ops concepts (build pipelines, deployments, environments).
