Delivery Driver - Vehicle

Overview

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver for our Pen-y-Maes branch. As a Delivery Driver, you will deliver prescriptions to customers in a timely and efficient manner and establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing courteous and effective customer service. You will handle important medication, so maintaining professionalism and high-quality service is essential. You will interact with vulnerable individuals within the community and should understand the importance of building rapport so they receive their medication when they need it.

You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records related to deliveries and documentation.

• Deliver prescriptions to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and provide courteous, effective customer service.
• Handle important medication with professionalism and ensure high-quality service at all times.
• Build rapport with vulnerable individuals in the community to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records, including delivery logs, inventory tracking, and properly filled documentation.
• Provide casual cover for holiday and sickness as needed.
• Comply with company policies regarding safe transport of goods and maintain the security of the van at all times.

• Full UK driving license.
• Prior experience in customer service and delivery driving is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to comply with company policies on safe transport and van security.
• Reliable and personable with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
