Job Summary

Logistics Coordinator (Job N/LGRT) – Randox Testing Services are the market leader in providing drug and alcohol testing services. Our staff is at the heart of everything we do and achieve. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator within our Testing Services team.

Team Overview

Randox Testing Services specialise in the drug and alcohol testing industry. Working to strict procedures governed by ISO
17025 accreditation, the team works closely with customers, health and safety, and human resources departments to maintain the health and wellbeing of employees and the wider public. By preventing misuse of controlled substances and alcohol, and identifying those requiring assistance with dependency issues, Randox delivers a critical service that protects safety‑critical industries.

Duties
  • Prepare and place supplier orders.
  • Ensure all incoming goods are delivered on time.
  • Assist with general telephone and email queries.
  • Cross‑check supplier invoices against orders placed.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Source potential new suppliers and liaise with the Randox supply chain team.
  • Maintain records for goods in, goods out, and collector network supply.
  • Arrange customer pick‑ups and deliveries, ensuring each shipping file contains the correct documents.
  • Match all courier tracking numbers against the relevant invoice.
  • Assist with general administrative duties within the operations department.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota to coordinate evening, weekend, and holiday collection requests.
Essential Criteria
  • GCSE in Maths and English, grade C or above.
  • Competent in Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Flexibility to work an on‑call rota.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with a purchasing database such as Sage.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (as the site is remote).
  • Experience in customer service.
