- Newbridge, Edinburgh People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our well-established client based in Newbridge, Edinburgh on a full-time ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for shunting work with excellent rates of pay and long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for shunting trailers around the yard safely, securely and efficiently before completing the shift with a customer collection.

This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Driver, Category CE Driver or Shunter Driver. Rates of Pay: £19.08 per hour basic £27.26 per hour overtime Shift Pattern:

Moving trailers around the customer yard in a timely and efficient manner Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift Ensuring all goods are transported safely and securely Completing all required paperwork accurately Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times Completing customer collections as required Essential

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience Good communication skills A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work The ability to work well as part of a team Training:
