Position: Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver (Rotating Shifts)

Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver (Rotating Shifts)

Pay rate: £14.25 per hour

Shifts: Rotating weekly 06:00–14:30 and 14:00–22:30

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse and production support environment. This role is key to ensuring materials and kits are accurately prepared and delivered line-side to support production operations.

Requirements
  • Valid Counterbalance FLT (CB) licence – essential
  • Valid Bendi / Pivot Steer FLT licence – essential
  • Full UK driving licence – essential
  • Previous warehouse experience – essential
  • Experience using warehouse operating systems – desirable
Key Responsibilities Daily Duties
  • Pick and build kits for production jobs using pick screen instructions
  • Deliver kits to site at requested times and ensure timely line-side delivery
  • Liaise with on-site colleagues to coordinate efficient kit distribution
  • Carry out QA checks on all kits before dispatch
  • Follow goods-in procedures when receiving deliveries
  • Report any damages or discrepancies to the Contract Supervisor
  • Complete pre-shift FLT checks thoroughly and correctly
  • Attend daily shift briefing
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Drive a company vehicle between warehouse and customer site
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues
  • Review shift handovers and prioritise urgent tasks
Weekly Duties
  • Fulfil contracted hours reliably and punctually
  • Ensure FLTs and vehicles are kept clean and free from debris

  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Professional, approachable, and adaptable
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
  • Accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
  • Organised and safety-focused at all times
