Warehouse Operative
Chirk | Permanent | Monday to Friday | 37 Hours per Week | £25062 per annum

The Role:
Are you looking for a stable, permanent warehouse role with a well-established manufacturing business? We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and supportive team in Chirk.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a company where reliability and teamwork are genuinely valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately pick customer orders from picking lists
* Check product descriptions, quantities and condition
* Pack and label products ready for dispatch
* Carry out routine stock checks and report discrepancies
* Load and unload deliveries safely
* Prepare orders for dispatch to customers
* Move stock using approved handling methods and equipment
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
* Report any stock issues, damaged goods or safety concerns
* Liaise with warehouse, production and office teams to ensure smooth operations
This role involves a reasonable level of physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, bending and handling products throughout the day. Safe working practices and lifting aids are provided where required.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Basic numeracy skills
* Comfortable working in a physically active role
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Commitment to health and safety procedures
Desirable
* Experience with in goods-in, goods-out or stock control
* Previous picking and packing experience
* Experience using pallet trucks or warehouse equipment
