• To provide professional management and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school’s behaviour, consequence and rewards systems for all students in Years 7 to 11, including strategic oversight, quality assurance and evaluation of their impact.
• To work with the Assistant Principal to oversee Student Support for all students in years 7 to 11.
• To act as a support network for all teachers, Assistant Principal’s, Faculty Leads and SEND team.
• To manage the school exclusion re‑integration process in line with DFE guidance, meeting with parents, carers & external agencies of any excluded student.
• To manage, oversee and direct resolution of individual pastoral problems and welfare matters through the management and organisation of day‑to‑day pastoral work.
• The Behaviour Leader will manage the Student Support Team, under him/her will be: 5 non‑teaching heads of year.
• The Behaviour Leader will line manage these members of staff and be responsible for their Performance Management.
• Manage & oversee the bus prefect system to ensure safe travel to and from school for all students.
