4 PCU is a 48 bed Progressive Care Unit. Very fast paced and great opportunity for new graduates or experienced nurses. The critical care skills learned on our floor assist in great building blocks for a solid nursing foundation.

• Telemetry/Cardiac needs, various Cardiac Drip administration
• Telemetry Observation
• Pre and post Heart Catheterization procedures
• Trauma Care with fractured ribs
• Orthopedic surgical services pre and post op
• Chest tube care
• High Flow Oxygen Bipap and Avaps
• CIWA protocol (ETOH precautions)
• Seizures
• NIHSS Stroke Certified care
• Multiple surgical drains such as the Jackson Pratt pleur-X, pig‑tail and Accordion drain systems
• Renal Failure
• Congestive Heart Failure
• COPD/Asthma

BSN preferred.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
