GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the respective department manager, the Clinical Nursing Coordinator assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the provision of patient care services within the department. The coordinator assists in quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives and policies within the department, and may participate in the evaluation, discipline and discharge of personnel.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Two to three years of progressively more responsible nursing and supervisory experience.
- ED / PACU / Radiology RN experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Current ACLS & BLS certification.
