The Emergency Department at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is a community‑based teaching ED situated within Downtown Wyandotte. The ED sees over 45,000 patients per year and boasts 42 rooms including 5 Mental‑Health Secured Units and 3 Trauma Bays. HFWH is a Primary Stroke Center, offers a 24‑hour Cardiac Cath Lab, EMS Direct to Cardiac Cath Lab and a Level III Trauma Center.

Our staff include Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, ED Technicians/Paramedics, Unit Secretaries, and Social Workers.
