Unit Overview
The 5th Floor Med Surg Unit is a 44 bed capacity –preferred hospice unit. The patient population is a combination of young adults through their lifespan. 16 beds can consist of tele patients. Our surgical patients are those that have undergone surgeries that require in‑patient monitoring. We provide comfort for the End of Life patients while utilizing Palliative and Hospice Care as a reso.
Education/ExperienceRequired
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
