Lawn Care Technician

• Safely operate or learn to operate lawn care application equipment such as Z‑spray, aerator, push spreader, and backpack sprayer.
• Spray liquid lawn care applications or apply granular product with the spreader.
• Identify or learn to identify different grass and weed types and indicators of possible lawn health problems.
• Diagnose insect, disease, and seasonal conditions to determine the preparation and treatment, while implementing the proper filling/mixing procedure and material dilution.
• Apply fertilizers, weed control, and other materials per label instructions on client properties while keeping accurate and timely record‑keeping.

• Experience with lawn care equipment and applications.
• Knowledge of common cool‑season turf grass types and issues.
• Ability to identify local tree and shrub species is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking.
• Self‑starter who can make decisions that improve work environment and co‑workers.

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
