Position Summary
This full-time Hydrology, Hydraulics & Stormwater Engineering Project Manager (P.E.) role focuses on leading and managing stormwater and water resources projects. The position combines project management with technical expertise, offering opportunities to mentor staff, interact directly with clients, and ensure successful delivery of complex engineering solutions.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
Serve as the lead engineer on stormwater management and water resources projects, providing oversight and technical expertise.
Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables for multiple projects across different clients.
Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff to develop their skills and support project success.
Provide technical modeling and analysis using industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic software.
Represent the team in meetings with local, state, federal, and private clients, maintaining strong communication and relationships.
Proficiency with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Leadership ability to manage teams and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas (other state licenses are a plus).
5+ years of experience managing hydrology, hydraulics, or stormwater projects.
Familiarity with FEMA LOMC processes and dam safety regulations is preferred.
Based in Wylie, Texas, within the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
Competitive base salary: typically $120,000 – $160,000, commensurate with experience.
