Wymondham College Prep School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in not only working with whole classes of children but also working with small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity, intervening to close gaps in children’s subject knowledge and developing their basis skills. The school is committed to professional development of all staff and provides a safe and supportive environment.

The role will support the completion of the professional work of teachers as directed.

• Previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and evidence of professional growth through training in a range of academic, SEND and social & emotional areas of child development.
• Committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
• Eager to learn, develop and grow to become an exceptional practitioner.
• Excellent communication skills, warm and caring disposition and good sense of humour.
• Understanding of an inclusive environment, supporting pupils to follow the school’s Good Choice Mantras – “Do the Right Thing / Make a Difference / Value Every Voice”.
