Junior Mechanical Design Engineer | Automotive | Wymondham | Up to £35k

Our client, who are based on the outskirts of Norwich, are an established automotive technology company with a global client base. They are recruiting for a Graduate/Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative R&D team.

You will be responsible for producing mechanical designs for a range of products and applications in 3D and 2D using Solid Works.

Responsibilities:

Develop design concepts using 2D drawings, 3D models and prototypes.
Produce engineering drawings, specifications, BOM structures, part lists and costings.
Managing multiple design tasks k with purchasing on costings for parts.

Key requirements:

Essential:

Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience (via university, college, apprenticeship, or progressive roles in the sector)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Genuine interest in the Automotive or Motorsport industries
Desirable:

Experience using Solid Works
