Financial Controller; FTC)

Keeler Recruitment is supporting a well-established and successful business in the search for an experienced Financial Controller to join the organisation on a 3-month contract. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on leadership role requiring an individual who can quickly integrate into the business, provide stability, and lead the finance function with minimal supervision.

This opportunity would suit a highly capable and commercially minded finance professional who is confident managing day-to-day financial operations while supporting strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support and oversight.
• Take ownership of the month-end close process and financial reporting.
• Ensure robust financial controls and governance are maintained.
• Oversee management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Act as a trusted partner to the CFO and wider leadership team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiencies where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating at Financial Controller level.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
• Hands-on and proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment and making an immediate impact.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Available to commence the assignment at short notice or immediately.
