ATHLETIC TRAINER - PT SPORTS MED nards Healthcare

• Facilitate the management and provision of care of injuries to physically active persons under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Render emergency care, develop injury prevention programs, and provide appropriate preventative devices for the physically active person.
• Assess, manage, treat, and refer conditions within the professional scope of a certified athletic trainer.
• Utilize modalities and therapeutic approaches (e.g., mechanical stimulation, heat, cold, light, air, water, electricity, sound, massage, therapeutic exercises, reconditioning exercises, and fitness programs).
• Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and supervisors.

• Must be licensed in the State of Arkansas to practice Athletic Training. CPR certified.
• Experience in athletic training or related clinical setting.
• Sound clinical skills and demonstrated good judgment. Ability to problem-solve and plan effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.

• Requires physical strength to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to work required schedule. Hearing within normal range. Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, and carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
