. This is a contract role near Rawlins, WY, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and per diem eligibility.

Who You Are

You’re a certified Paramedic who brings reliability, calm, and good judgment to every call. You adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and are dependable whether working with a team or solo in the field. You stay steady under pressure, treat patients with respect, and understand that good care involves presence as well as skill. You’re willing to travel, endure long shifts, and navigate rural routes or busy event sites.

If you’ve worked in small towns or covered wide territories, you’ll feel at home here.

Responsibilities
  • Administer emergency medical care (respiratory, trauma, cardiac interventions) and conduct patient assessments (e.g., drug screenings, BATs).
  • Perform recordkeeping and data entry as required, excluding treatment-related records.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in line with safety protocols and standards.
  • Provide information on medical treatments and procedures to promote a culture of health and safety.
  • Measure vital signs and collect specimens.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided.
  • Monitor worker health and manage preventative care onsite.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain readiness for onsite incidents.
Requirements
  • Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts (MF, occasional weekends).
  • Work 8 weeks on / 1 week off rotation; rotate home for 1 week.
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Ability to climb without difficulty.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
  • Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing duties.
  • Favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
  • Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures (e.g., construction).
Skills and Experience
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
  • Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
  • Proficient in medical recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
  • Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
  • Experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider.
