Job Summary:

Princeton Staffing Solutions is partnering with a School District near Thermopolis, WY in need of experienced School Psychologist (SSP) for a local or travel contract position starting ASAP working 37.5 hours per week for the remainder of the 25-26 School Year. The position is for In-Person only. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running and prior school-based experience as a School Psychologist (Psych) is Required .

School Psychologist

Job Duties:

o Conduct assessments (intelligence, achievement, functional, behavioral, social, emotional, and curriculum-based assessment)
o Interpret results for special education eligibility and individual educational needs
o Provide case management and coordination. Crisis intervention when appropriate
o Knowledge of state and federal legislation for disabilities
o Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with staff, students and families.
o Lead collaboration and integration strategies.
o Function as an effective member of the Multi-disciplinary Team.
o Experience leading teams in manifestation determinations, functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
o Ability to identify individual student needs and develop effective recommendations for the multi-disciplinary team.

License - Education - Certification Requirements:

o Minimum of a master’s degree in a field related to school psychology
o Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential issued by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
o State License and/or Educational Certification as required by state requirements
