Housekeeper - Sundance Hospital

Crook County Medical Services District is currently looking for a housekeeper to join our team! This position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for all patients, visitors and staff members. Personnel will operate various types of cleaning equipment both electrical and mechanical, collect waste, sanitize, deep clean, dust, mop and replenish supplies.

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment/facility
• Vacuum all carpeted areas daily
• Clean restrooms daily with germicidal solution
• Empty all trash receptacles daily
• Mop all tile and vinyl floors with germicidal solution daily
• Dust and clean all patient care rooms daily with germicidal solution as scheduled
• Sanitize trash cans monthly
• Deep Clean:
  Washing of walls, beds, ceilings, windows, bedside tables, heaters, and other furnishings in each patient room as scheduled
• Collect infectious waste, per policy and procedure reads, established by infection control committee
• Clean all office areas as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum age of sixteen years

• General cleaning experience preferred but willing to train.

• Professional and discrete manner at all times
• Ability to work as a team player at all times
• Organized and timely
• Must understand written safety directions to mix chemicals and demonstrate proper material handling

• 40 hours per week
• Schedule is dependent upon needs of facility
