• Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited school of occupational therapy.

• Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
• Basic internet navigation skills

• Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable)

• Optimize patient functionality through direct occupational therapy and program oversight.
• Provide consultation and clinical supervision to COTAs, rehab techs, and assistants.
• Directly supervise COTA and rehab tech work during group and individual treatments, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with state practice acts and OBRA.
• Build and maintain a strong occupational therapy program.
• Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through mentorship, self‑study, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay current on occupational therapy and healthcare environment issues.
• Understand relevant payment models and billing guidelines; provide quality care and realistic goals.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and facility safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively in English (instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, reports).
