Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent will work in Grand Teton National Park’s hotels, providing legendary hospitality experiences to guests. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, managing accounts, and supporting daily operations while working in a seasonally available full‑time role during Summer 2026.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide legendary hospitality experiences to internal and external guests.
  • Warmly greet all guests and visitors as they arrive at the Front Desk or pass through the lobby.
  • Register guests and process necessary paperwork, obtaining credit card and posting of cash payments.
  • Perform check‑outs; obtain final payment and complete checkout in the hotel computer system.
  • Provide guests with information on the hotel and facilities upon check‑in and answer general questions.
  • Makes change and payments required by guests; posts charges to guest accounts and master folios promptly and accurately.
  • Takes reservations for same‑day arrivals.
  • Prepare keys for incoming tours from the list provided by Front Office Manager and prepare folios for departing tours and tour directors.
  • Coordinate special requests for rollaway and cribs; notify the switchboard operator and/or Maintenance Department of any items or housekeeping complaints.
  • Work with the bell staff to provide luggage service to guests.
  • Notify Housekeeping of guest check‑outs, room changes, updated room status, and unexpected stay‑overs in a timely fashion.
  • Record guest comments or complaints, referring to the managers as necessary.
  • Assist with operating the main switchboard (PBX) as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Valid US Driver’s License – Preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of computers.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English – Required.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in a front desk position – Preferred.
  • Previous hotel/hospitality experience – Preferred.
  • Strong communication skills – Required.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure – Required.
  • Knowledge of a property management system (Visual One desirable).
