Pro Gen Search is partnering with a leading CRO specializing in bioanalytical and biomarker services for biologics and next-generation therapies. This on-site position is based in the Mid-West USA, offering the opportunity to lead and innovate within a rapidly growing and impactful field.

This role is integral to managing client relationships, advancing drug development technologies, and contributing to our client’s mission to improve human and animal health.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage the Bio Pharma laboratory, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of client projects.
• Design, plan, and execute bioanalytical assays (ADA, PK, Biomarker, and Nab), including method development and validation using platforms such as ELISA, MSD, and Luminex.
• Act as a project manager, overseeing the development, validation, and execution of assays, and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing needs and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Drive business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing business, and representing the company at industry events.
• Develop and implement strategies to support growth, including resource planning and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GCP, and internal SOPs, maintaining scientific accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor and supervise a team of scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related field with at least 10 years of experience in large molecule immunoassay development/validation, or equivalent experience with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven expertise in bioanalytical techniques, including LBA, Immunogenicity, ELISA, MSD, and Luminex.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support business development and client interactions.
