Georgia‑Pacific is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee overall operations at our Lovell, WY – Gypsum Facility. With a workforce of around 120 full‑time employees and a 20‑person leadership team, the Plant Manager leads the team to success while ensuring a safe and injury‑free environment.

- Coaching, motivating, and mentoring the team to drive safe and efficient behaviors leading to positive outcomes.
- Use Disciplined Operations to make improvements sustainable and embrace and leverage technology to drive innovation and process improvements.
- Utilize performance data and analytical techniques to identify and realize the greatest opportunities.
- Embracing and managing change to drive innovation and process improvements.
- Facilitate team and employee development, problem‑solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership, and holding employees accountable.
- Take accountability for safety, quality, and efficiency through leadership, individual ownership and accountability, teamwork, and delegation.
- Use critical and economic thinking, challenge process, and team collaboration to resolve issues and drive innovation, efficiency, and safety excellence.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment, or six (6) years of leadership experience in the Gypsum industry.
- Experience coaching, counseling, and developing salaried and hourly employees.
- Transformation experience utilizing automation and advanced technology to improve operations.
- Experience utilizing constraint analysis and continuous improvement tools/processes to prioritize work and solve complex issues.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical or business program.
- Plant Manager experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment.
- Previous Gypsum experience.
