SUMMARY
Set up, program, operate CNC/manual machines to manufacture parts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate complex set-ups for machinery safely and efficiently within close tolerances from drawings with minimal supervision
- Comply with all safety, quality (ISO), and company policies.
- Effectively communicate with supervisor and other shop team members.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Produce first article parts and make necessary adjustments (programming-offsets-tooling) for a quality part.
- Can perform math and read G&M codes.
- Effectively troubleshoot fixtures, machining, and programming issues to correct
- Proficiently use measuring instruments with an emphasis on detail
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Document measurements taken from machined parts to meet quality standards
- Machining: 2 years (Preferred)
