University of Michigan Health-West, a leader in Healthcare in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a full-time Pulmonary Physician to join our expanding, academic hybrid team. High caliber, quality focused, innovative providers should apply to join our care team of both physicians and advanced practice providers to expand and provide care to local communities. Michigan Medicine and University of Michigan Health systems create an opportunity for program collaboration, mentorship, and research if desired.
Candidate will need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.

OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:
• Ability to work closely with a partnering team of specialists encompassing 37+ specialty care and hospital-based service lines
• Play a key role in providing exceptional care to an extensive patient population with pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, and pulmonary hypertension.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including, surgeons, radiologists, and advanced practice providers to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Michigan Medicine ILD conference to present cases
• Vibrant IP program
• Extensive sleep medicine program
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging therapies and clinical trial opportunities for patients.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents if desired
• Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
• Participate in lung cancer tumor board meetings and provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers.
