Manufacturing Engineer | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Design, procure, and qualify tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturability.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and reduce costs.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing process design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
• Solid understanding of various manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture design.

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with automation and robotics integration
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, SQL)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience
• Multilingual capabilities, especially Spanish or Mandarin
