Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new tooling, fixtures, and jigs for manufacturing processes.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot existing production tooling to ensure operational efficiency.
- Analyze tooling failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Optimize tooling designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and extended lifespan.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to define tooling specifications and requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components.
- Manage tooling projects from conceptualization through successful production launch.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in tooling design, fabrication, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, CATIA) for tooling design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, or machining.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize tooling performance and longevity.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tooling materials, and heat treatment processes.
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling applications.
- Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for tooling design validation.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Prior experience with robotics or automation integration in tooling setups.
- Advanced knowledge of exotic material properties and heat treatment processes for tool steels.
