Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level role is dedicated to supporting our Marketforce team. You’ll be responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting activities, helping ensure accuracy and compliance across our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities- Pulling daily and monthly reports for reconciliations across seven different agencies.
- Reconciling daily and monthly payment trackers to ensure all payments are accurately posted.
- Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies during daily reconciliations.
- Processing daily payment returns and keying payments efficiently.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma, plus some tertiary qualification in finance (e.g., associate's degree, certificate, or coursework in accounting or finance).
- Proficiency in multitasking and self-directed work.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word and PDF applications.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of formulas and data analysis.
- Experience with payment reconciliations involving payment processors, banks, and systems of record.
- Trustworthiness and discretion.

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee may occasionally move about the office to accomplish tasks and may exert up to 40 pounds.
Conditions of Employment- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
- Must be willing to submit to a Level II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security results.
