Apprentice, Machine Builder

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Machine Builder Apprentice program. Build a foundation in skilled manufacturing, gain practical on-the-job training, and earn industry-recognized credentials while pursuing long-term careers. Apprentices receive support including opportunities for college classes and mentoring as full-time employees.

Our apprenticeship follows the United States Department of Labor standards and totals 8,000 hours (4 years on-the-job) plus related classroom instruction.

• Construct, build, and rebuild machines and fixtures and related equipment, alongside seasoned professionals in our automation facility.

Common GRCC Courses
:
Technical Math, Industrial Graphics with CAD, Machine Trades Blueprint Reading, Solid Works, Metallurgy, MIG and TIG Welding, Electrical, Controls, PLC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Industrial Physics

Hands-on Training
:
Mills, Lathes, Drill Press, Surface Grinder, Band Saw, Welding, Blueprint Reading, Detail Manufacturing, Layout and Assembly, Debug and Service.

• GRCC tuition and fees are paid 100% upfront by Arti Flex Manufacturing.
• Apprentices receive a pay increase every 1,000 hours.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 18 years of age
