Setup Technician - Wyoming Area

Salary Range: $43,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

• Perform machine setup and changeovers for production runs according to specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain quality approvals before production starts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine and process issues during setup.
• Document setup parameters, process adjustments, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize setup times and efficiency.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.

• Proven experience in setting up, adjusting, and operating manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Skilled in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture or tooling modifications.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills using specialized diagnostic equipment (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging).
